Mission Statement

At Awareness, Prevention, and Treatment Services and Consulting (A.P.T.), our experienced team strives to increase awareness of sexual abuse in our community, aims to support preventive measures for disrupting the cycle of abuse, and provides evidence-based sex offense specific treatment to individuals with sexually abusive behaviors.

History

A.P.T. Services and Consulting was established as an LLC in May of 2018 by Jennifer Harris, LCSW, MSW. Ms. Harris serves as owner and clinical director for the agency. All our team of providers are graduate level clinicians with several years of experience in the field of sexually abusive behaviors and victim services. All our providers are listed with the Sex Offender Management Board of Colorado and registered and/or licensed with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

Nancy Tanner, LCSW – Victim Representative & Family Support Services

Nancy is a licensed clinical social worker and our elder stateswoman. She retired from her private clinical practice at the end of 2018 and began contracting with APT to facilitate our Informed Supervision training in 2019. Nancy has 30+ years of working with victims, offenders and their families. She also serves as APT’s victim representative and provides family support.
